As I'm sure you've all figured out by now, there's more than one way to play this game. I first started playing Lilith Amaris over two years ago when IWT was still on WBS. The storyline has evolved, and I want to bring more people in on what I think could be a really good thing. So, after playing in a couple of PBEM RPG's, I decided to create a list just for this storyline. I call it Dhalgren Revisited, because it's based on a book by Samuel R Delany. Check out the links page and look him up, if you ever get the time. I know most of you from IWT, so this is probably a bit redundant, but I just wanted to make sure that everyone who comes here who plays in IWT knows that I will be continuing this storyline in IWT, and hopefully, I will be drawing more players to IWT, players who are now just floating around in cyberspace.
That being said, whether you're a newbie or an old hand, you are more than welcome to join this storyline. Just make sure the character is in theme with the storyline, and go for it. I'm not an "rp snob" and I don't belong to any clique that I am aware of. If you want to play, let me know, and we'll play. I'm here to write a good story, not the longest story, or the most streamlined story. I'm perfectly willing to lose every single character I have ever played, and this includes the ones I've been playiing for my nearly four years at IWT. Whew. That was quite a rant. But let me reiterate. If you're from IWT, and you want to play, then let me know. If you signed up to the Dhalgren_Revisited@egroups.com mailing list, and you're now interested in playing online in a chat room, let me know. I'll help you get set up in IWT, the room I -always- play in.
I don't mind running two SL's if I have to, one for the email list and one for IWT, and for right now, I'll be running both, but if I get overwhelming support for one over another, I'll look into making a few changes. Maybe I'll bring the list entirely into IWT, if that becomes feasible. If you have any bitches, rants, or suggestions, please direct them to the address below, or to the Message Board. Thanks!
